Today, from the very depths of my brain, the chorus to this terrible song came bouncing back.
It is truly a design error that we humans cannot delete memories like if we were a hard drive; Fly me to the Moon, Sinatra version: STORE. I believe I can Fly by teenage-lover R Kelly: DELETE!
This song is a R & B gospel nightmare… Suggestion to R. Kelly: man, if you really believe you can fly why not trying from the very top of a skyscraper… c’mon Kelly, we are with you!

I had the unpleasant experience of over-hearing that song the other day. Music you cannot control nowadays…it is everywhere, in chain shops, malls, streets… fuckin assaults you without permission.
I could not help myself into googling the lyrics, to find out it was committed by a band called Savage Garden.
If the lyrics ‘I knew I loved you before I met you’ -that is impossible by the way… really- are not the most mongoloid piece of shit ever written, then I know nothing.
If last year’s model was Amy Winehose, injecting a needed dose of dignity into the top 10, then this year’s model is any twentysomething white chick with a black throat. Now Duffy, tomorrow, who knows? Better this than the Lilly Allen mockney path, I say.
